In 2022, Pakistan experienced its worst ever flooding. UN Secretary-General António Guterres called it a monsoon on steroids. Lives were lost, homes washed away, and livelihoods destroyed. Sindh People's Housing for Flood Affectees (SPHF) was on a mission to help survivors rebuild, and we came it to help raise the funds and awareness to make it possible.

The idea was simple and unprecedented. We officially renamed the first newly rebuilt flood-resilient town ClimateChangeTown.pk, making the donation URL the town's official name. This means that every single time it is mentioned, it drives directly to the donation website. Unveiled at COP28, the campaign is more than a fundraising mechanic. It puts the crisis permanently on the map, in the most literal sense possible.
